The company UNITED CAPS is a European leader in development, production and sale of plastic caps and closures from Luxembourg. The enterprise produces custom designed closures for a wide variety of international companies in the packaging markets.

Customers benefit from technical support tailored to meet individual needs and ensures the solution meets expectations.

The R&D department has its own ‘mini-factory’ comprising two electrical injection machines where injection parameters of closures that are still in development are fine tuned.

The Technical Assistance for Development is tasked to ensure that the design and functionality of the closure at the pilot stage fits perfectly with the customers line.

  • 1939 – founded as Resibel (Belgium) producing bakelite products
  • 1960 – Resibel (Belgium) starts producing plastic closure solutions for mainly non food related market applications
  • 1982 - Resibel (Belgium) & Delatour (France) start up a joint cooperation in plastic caps & closure systems
  • 1992 – joint venture (Resibel-Delatour) launches Wincap, Luxembourg
  • 1998 - acquisition of Domingo Pascual Carbo (DPC) in Spain (50%)
  • 2001 - joint venture launches Winplant, Hungary
  • 2003 - PROCAP Group (PROCAP Luxembourg S.A.) is introduced
  • 2004 - acquisition of Domingo Pascual Carbo (DPC) in Spain is complete (100%)
  • 2009 - PROCAP acquires Elocap Luxembourg
    • PROCAP CP is introduced
  • 2011 - PROCAP acquires MacFarlane in Ireland
    • PROCAP Wicklow (today: Greystones) LTD is introduced
  • 2013 - PROCAP acquires Schöeller Cap Systems (SCS) in Germany
    • PROCAP Schwerin is introduced
  • 2015 - UNITED CAPS founded
