Company Profile

SIKORA started business with measuring devices for the industrial production of wires and cables in Bremen, Germany. As a leading company for measuring and control technology as well as for inspection, analysis and sorting systems the company has set standards for quality assurance, process optimization and cost savings in many industries with innovative solutions.

The company has 400 employees with headquarters in Bremen/Germany. The development of a non-contact measuring device for the measurement of concentricity and wall thickness of cables was the first milestone of SIKORA's success. Shortly after that, the company made a name for itself as a pioneer for line sensors for the diameter measurement of wires and cables.

As a solution finder for challenges of the quality assurance and process optimization the company invests about ten percent of their annual turnover in research and development. More than 30 employees are permanently active in their technology center. The radiation safety of our X-ray measuring systems complies with international directives and is far below the prescribed limits.

Applications

  • Capacitance measurement
  • Diameter measurement of round products
  • Dielectric strength
  • Eccentricity measurement of round products
  • Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) analysis
