Erema Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen Ges.m.b.H. is a group of 6 companies that develops and produces custom designed and tailor-made solutions for plastics recycling systems and components. Erema began it's pioneering work in 1983 and today the group consists of the companies 3S, EREMA, KEYCYCLE, PLASMAC, POWERFIL, PURE LOOP and UMAC. The company's group headquarter is located in Ansfelden, near Linz in Austria and has more than 50 national representatives and Erema subsidiaries.

Over 4000 Erema systems around the globe now produce more than 14 million tonnes of plastic pellets every year. It's Vacurema technology is designed for purposes of PET bottle recycling systems.

History
Erema was founded in 1983. Georg Wendelin, Helmut Bacher and Helmuth Schulz founded Erema in 1983 and build the first prototype. Today, the company is under the lead of Klaus Feichtinger and Manfred Hackl
