Company Profile
SGT (Société Générale des Techniques) is a specialist in PET packaging offers high performance solutions for packaging liquids.
The production covers the needs of bottlers by offering a wide range of PET preform necks and weights in every colour.
Société Générale des Techniques is FSSC 22000 certified and is able to meet all the requirements of food safety and good hygiene practices. Technical assistance is provided with monitoring on-site testing and, where required, setting in place adapted blowing processes.
The company has facilities in Rezé, France and in Rouïba and Setif in Algeria.

History
- 1981- established
- 1991 to 1997 - growth in its volumes and sales
- extending client portfolio in France and for export.
- 1997 - set up of an injection shop for manufacturing preforms in PET with 4 presses.
- 2000 - discontinued compounding business and increased PET preform production capacity to 10 injection presses.
- 2001 - PET preform and cap production site in Rouïba, Algeria
- 2012 - now has a pool of 16 injection presses for PET preforms at Rezé site
- Rouïba site in Algeria has 15 injection presses for PET preforms
- May 2013 - Setting up third production site in Setif, Algeria
- July 2013 - SGT gets FSSC 22000 certification (includes the ISO 22000 standard and the prerequisite programs of the PAS 223)
