Avient Corporation is a global manufacturer that is specialized in polymer materials. The company headquartered in Avon Lake, Ohio.

Avient products include thermoplastic compounds, plastic colorants and additives, thermoplastic resins, vinyl resins, thermoplastic composites and specialty thermoset composite materials.

Formerly the company was known as PolyOne which was formed in 2000 through a merger of The Geon Company and M.A. Hanna Company. Geon itself was formed in 1993 through a spin-off of Goodrich Corporation's plastics business. Following PolyOne's acquisition of Clariant's masterbatch division in July 2020, the company renamed itself Avient.
