E-proPLAST GmbH is a medium sized company from Schmalkalden in Thuringia/Germany that was founded in 1998 as a factory for testing moulds. The company began with small series productions in the field of injection moulding which gained more applications, especially in the automotive industry.

Today the company produces standard and individual designed bottles on state of the art machines.
The range of activities includes production for small start-up companies as well as well-established producers of beverages, food stuff, chemical and cosmetic products, finding solutions for their applications.
E-proPlast guides customers from the initial idea to the finished product through all steps of development.
Due to the company‘s small business size E-proPlast is able to react flexible to customer wishes and demands.
Continuous investments and training of the company‘s staff E-proPlast is able to provide complex know-how in the fields of PET-packaging technology, plastic processing and engineering.

History
- 1998 - E-proPLAST GmbH founded in Schmalkalden/Germany as a factory for testing moulds.
- 2002 - started activities in the PET-packaging market
- 2003 – new 4000 m² production hall with an attached 550 m² office building.
- 2007 / 2008 - large investments in the field of machinery and plant techniques
- 2011 - new buildings now with a total of over 7.000 m²
- 2015 – the company is concentrating only on PET-packaging and reached a capacity of more than 150 million bottles per year.
- 2016 - production and storage area now about 10.000m²
