Chemical Recycling Europe is a non-profit organization that was created with the vision of establishing an industry platform for developing and promoting cutting-edge chemical recycling technologies for polymer waste across Europe.
The members of the association follow one common idea: closing the loop for the plastics industry by offering the technology to endlessly recycle all plastic waste back into its original components.
The association aims to deepen collaboration with the EU Institutions and develop positive industry-wide relationships throughout the whole chemical recycling value chains in Europe in order to boost specific polymer recycling.
Chemical Recycling Europe was established in 2019 to promote and implement the innovative solutions that the chemical recycling of plastic waste offers to benefit our economy and society.

The members of Chemical Recycling Europe offer innovative and unique technologies to transform previously non recyclable plastic waste into new raw materials.
- The chemical recycling allows the transformation of all types of plastic waste back into its original chemical components. By creating a new, secondary raw material that offers the same quality as virgin feed stock, chemical recycling can help to close the loop and reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.
