Plastisud designs and builds pilot and production moulds since 1964, integrating its own Hot runner system, manufacturing high-precision multi-cavity moulds made of steel (up to 144 cavities for caps) for high productivity rates. The company develops custom-made moulds that are adapted to specific production needs.
The company has two production sites in Castelnaudary (France) and Mt Vernon (Kentucky, USA).
After the various stages of construction, the moulds are fine-tuned in one of the company's own injection machines in Palstisud's trial lab, according to customer specifications. Upon delivery, customers just connect the necessary pipes and start to produce immediately.

Another market is the manufacaturing of single face and stack moulds up to 12 + 12 cavities, for Thin Wall parts (≤ 0.30 mm for containers), with a integrated own hot runner systems for a a perfect balance of the mold, at the best cycle times in the industry.
The company's R&D team explores new mold technologies and processes with eco-friendly resins (PLA, PET, bio-sourced materials).

Once the moulds are delivered, the customer moulds are followed from the original construction and throughout the lifespan of the mold, supporting any revision or refurbishment, performs mould conversions in their workshop or on production sites.
