Koch-Technik started in 1974 in a house in Ispringen where Werner Koch developed and constructed first machines for dosing, mixing and conveying plastic materials. Today the company comprises the headquarters of Werner Koch Maschinentechnik GmbH in Ispringen, Factory II (dryer construction) in neighbouring Göbrichen, Koch Technik China and Koch Technik Russia.

The machines and systems are developed and manufactured in Germany. The headquarters of Koch-Technik are still in Ispringen, Germany where the machines and systems are manufactured. The dryer construction is located in Göbrichen, Germany at new 3,000 m2 production facility.

Koch-Technik equipment is sold and installed worldwide through subsidiaries in France, the UK, Russia, India and China and other agencies. Koch-Technik equipment and systems are used in more than 4,000 plastic processing companies around the world.
